BAGHDAD (ChurchMilitant.com) - There will be no forced Islamization of Iraqi children, thanks to the strenuous efforts of Patriarch Louis Sako of Baghdad, Iraq.
Last week's story, where ChurchMilitant.com reported that Sako had asked Iraq's president to veto a law that would force children to convert to Islam, is now taking a benevolent turn. Yesterday, the Iraqi parliament voted 140 to 66 in favor of amending the controversial bill that would legally bind children of a Muslim convert to Islam.
