Is Pope Francis Afraid of His Own Cardinals?

Pope Francis has decided against meeting with the members of the College of Cardinals on the occasion of the next consistory on Wednesday, reports Edward Pentin.

Already at the previous consistory he refused to meet and dialogue with his closest collaborators. In February 2014 and February 2015 he still held such meetings and listened to the concerns of the Cardinals.

According to Pentin, Francis will only meet some handpicked cardinals.
