German Journalist Guido Horst criticises Vienna Cardinal Schönborn for claiming that the Catechism allegedly is the base for Amoris Laetitia.
Horst points out that the Catechism says the opposite of what Schönborn claims. Article 1665 declares: “The remarriage of persons divorced from a living, lawful spouse contravenes the plan and law of God as taught by Christ. They […] cannot receive Eucharistic communion.”
