Floods cause evacuation of Lourdes shrine

The shrine at Lourdes has been evacuated after torrential rain caused flash floods at the site.
Thirteen départments in France are on orange alert for heavy rain and flooding that has caused chaos across the country.
Roads have been destroyed and a train was derailed south of Paris after being hit by the landslide. There are also fears that the Tour de France will have to be re-routed due to the damage.
The Lourdes shrine last flooded five years ago, when authorities had to evacuate 200 people who were camping near the site after the Gave de Pau river suddenly rose.
