UK Government to sign UN Migration Pact and ‘ignores’ worries of the public

The list of countries refusing to be a part of the disastrous UN Migration Pact continues to grow. The British government, however, will not be joining that list, despite the petition which flew to over 100,000 signatories in a matter of days.
The US, Poland, Australia, Hungary, and a plethora of others have refused to sign the Compact in Marrakech tomorrow. Australian Prime Minister describes:
“The Compact fails to adequately distinguish between people who enter Australia illegally and those who come to Australia the right way, particularly with respect to the provision of welfare and other benefits.
“This is inconsistent with the management of Australia’s strong and orderly migration program under the Liberal National Government.”
The British government have responded to the petition in clear support of it, not considering for one second that they are elected officials meant to carry out the wishes of the people who elected them.
The Department for International Development writes: “The Compact is not legally binding. It creates a framework to allow countries to work together to make global migration more beneficial for everyone.”
The British public have just today come out en masse to protest the government’s ignoring the result of the Brexit referendum and the Migration Pact.
