French Priest Rebuked For Speaking Truth
French Diocese Saint-Dié rebuked the elderly priest François Schneider for making the truthful statement during a November 11 sermon in Bertrimoutier (population 307) that abortion caused more deaths than the First World War.
Saint-Dié is led by Bishop Didier Berthet, 60, who is seriously ill. Since September, it has been administered by Bishop Denis Jachiet, 60, of the neighboring diocese Belfort.
Schneider suggested that France should follow the example of Hungarian Prime Minister Victor Orbán and promote pro-birth policies. He is responsible for 17 small parishes.
After oligarch media picked up Schneider's remarks, Administrator Jachiet accused the priest of "instrumentalising" the commemoration of the dead of the First World War (sic). The real reason for Jachiet’s rage is that the Novus Ordo Church is pro-choice, i.e. pro-abortion.
As punishment, Schneider was forbidden to make any public speech for four weeks. In the Novus Ordo Church, priests who call abortion a "right" are not punished.
The First World War (1914-1918) cost the lives of 20M people. 21M were wounded. According to the WHO, there are an estimated 40-50M abortions every year.
