Tsunami warning in Italy due to the earthquake in Turkey

The Southern part of the country - in particular, railway traffic in Sicily, Calabria and Puglia was temporarily suspended and a number of other precautionary measures were taken.

At the same time, residents of the Italian coast were asked to stay away from the area and its vicinity from 6:30 a.m. local time until the end of the alarm.

"It is recommended to stay away from coastal areas, go to higher ground and follow the instructions of local authorities," the warning says.

Now, many countries of the world are expressing condolences to the country due to the consequences of the devastating earthquake in Turkey.

According to the latest data, more than 900 people died in ten provinces of Turkey, and the number of injured reached 2323.
