Give Me a good portion of your time each day (Jesus)

To John Leary, September 20, 2014:

Jesus said:

“My people, I have asked you to pick up your cross and carry it every day. Your priest asked a very pointed question of what are you willing to give up in order to come closer to Me. My faithful need to give up their free will over to Me, so they are able to accomplish the mission that I have planned for them. You have free will to follow Me or not. Another commitment will require you to give Me a good portion of your time each day.

This time starts with a commitment to your daily prayer, and possibly a visit to My Blessed Sacrament. When you take time to visit Me, you can share your day’s troubles, and ask for My help in your intentions. In the quiet time of Adoration you can discern answers to your questions, and what decisions you need to make. When you are making big decisions in your life for marriage, jobs, or other milestones in your life, it is good to come to Me for discernment of the proper course of action. Be thankful that you always have Me with you in My Blessed Sacrament.”

(...)You all have faults and sins in life, and I bring you to this oasis of cleansing water to wash away your sins in Confession. Not only do you have a friendship with your fellow travelers in life, but you have a friend and even One who loves you in Me. This earthly life is short and everything in it, is passing away. It is your soul that lives on forever, so your spiritual journey in this life has much more meaning for your eternal destination. Seek to be with Me in love every day, and you will have your reward with Me in heaven.”
