May 2, 2024 St. Athanasius of Alexandria (downloadable PDF here ) Since 2013, the words and actions of Pope Francis have caused an unprecedented crisis in the Catholic Church, and have done great harm to the Church and the whole world. The members of the hierarchy of the Church have a duty to act in order to prevent Francis from causing further harm. We therefore call for Pope Francis to resign the papal office, and to repent and do penance for his actions. If he does not do this, we request that the cardinals and bishops of the Catholic Church ask Pope Francis to resign the office of pope. If he refuses to resign or recant the heresies that he has upheld, we ask that they declare that he has lost the papal office. This crisis is due to two things: 1. Pope Francis has committed criminal acts gravely damaging to the Church and to individual believers. 2. Catholics Protest ‘Blasphemous’ Rihanna Cover Photo as ‘Horny Nun’ Some U.S. Catholics are protesting a cover photo of Rihanna dressed as a sexy Catholic nun, which many deem a “blasphemous” assault on religious sisters. A new preprint cell study from Brown University has found that the spike protein from SARS-CoV-2, the virus responsible for the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19), helps cancer cells survive and resist chemotherapy . According to the study, led by Dr. Wafik El-Deiry, the director of Brown's Legorreta Cancer Center , spike protein may promote cancer survival and growth through interference with anti-cancer activities, blocking the function of a crucial cancer suppressor gene known as p53. El-Deiry and his colleagues observed that when cancer cells encountered spike protein subunits, it reduced the activity of p53, a protein that helps defend the body against tumors. This allowed the cancer cells to escape the body's natural defenses against tumor formation. El-Deiry also explained that interfering with p53 can both foster cancer development and bolster cancer growth.
