Preparing my home for the Great Warning

As the signs of the Great Warning begin, the glowing Cross in the Sky, and then the wake or "white cloud", organize the following guidelines for the time of the Great Warning.

Helping the elderly who live alone.

1. Before the wake or cloud begins to cover everything, bring the animals into the house and if not possible, put a medal of St. Benedict around their necks. Have bowls of food and water ready to feed them.

2. Look for other alternatives for water supply.

3. An altar where everyone will gather to pray. In each house an altar should be placed with a white tablecloth, with the following: a blessed crucifix, a palm leaf or blessed bouquet. Blessed incense, preferably natural, a small bottle with blessed oil to be anointed from time to time. A small bottle with blessed and exorcised water to bless oneself. A blessed candle. An image of the Blessed Virgin Mary; of the Merciful Jesus; of the Holy Trinity; of St. Michael the Archangel.

4. Glue a medal of St. Benedict and a crucifix (blessed and exorcised) on all doors and windows facing the street so that evil spirits will not enter your home.

Place images of the Holy Archangels (Michael, Raphael and Gabriel) and other saints.

The medals should be pasted on the inside of the windows and on the doors on the outside.

5. It is recommended to place the Miraculous Medal and a prayer card of St. Michael the Archangel on the windows. Another spiritual security measure is to anoint the window and door frames with holy oil.

6. Bless your homes with holy water, sprinkle it all over the house frequently, while the sprinkling is done you should pray. Have extra devotionals.

7. Immediately cover the windows (depending on the resources available, prepare black plastic, cardboard or dark cloth). Cover the possible entrances of toxic gases.

8. Have garbage bags available to hermetically seal the waste produced by everyone during the days of the Big Warning (food waste, diapers and physiological waste).

Remember that there will be no collection service.

9. Organize essential medications and keep them on hand.

10. Have toys and children's books available. Organize the toys that the children in the family like best, so that they are readily available. Have a good variety for the children to keep them occupied when they are young and not praying. For older children, organize activities that distract them for a while and alternate them with prayer.

Understand that sleeping children should not be awakened no matter how long you prolong their sleep.

11. Have available a supply of non-perishable food, water, and a stock of gasoline, oil or gas according to your resources. It is certain that during the emergency we will not have water service, electric energy, nor domestic gas.
