Purity of Intention -Piccarreta

(2) And Jesus has said to Me: "Everything that is done with the sole purpose of pleasing Me, shines before Me in such a way, that it attracts My divine glances, and pleases Me so much, that to those actions, even if they were only a movement of eyelashes, I give them the value as if they were done by Me. On the other hand, the other actions, which in themselves are good and even great, not made only for Me, are like that muddy gold full of rust that does not shine, and I do not even deign to look at them".

(3) And I: "Ah Lord, how easy it is for dust to soil our actions".

(4) And He: "It is not necessary to pay attention to the dust, for it is shaken off; what is necessary to pay attention to is the intention."

(5) Now, while this was being said, Jesus was busy binding my arms. I said to Him, "Lord, what are You doing?"

(6) And He, "I am doing this because you being in the position of crucifixion are placating Me, and I, because I want to punish the people, am binding them to you."

(7) And having said this He disappeared.
