According to the theologian Lucas Gelasio, who is Father Oliveira's spokesman, he is a spiritual director of international renown, with a very good relationship with his Bishop.
But for obvious reasons he wants to remain anonymous.
What is the concrete vision that Father Oliveira received about October 2023?
The central message to Father Oliveira was on June 17, 2023, and it says that the Tribulation will escalate in October 2023.
The message given to him by Our Lady of Fatima is this:
"Dear son, listen carefully.
It is in October of this year that a period of great tribulation will begin, which I had already announced when I came to France, Portugal and Spain."
Presumably she is referring to the apparitions of La Salette, Fatima and Garabandal.
He continued.
"On all three occasions I spoke of the cause of these tribulations.
Prepare yourselves, especially spiritually, because this period will not begin with a clap of thunder, but will be gradual and will slowly spread throughout the world."
So it is not predicting a great event, but a gradual and slow escalation, so it may not be very noticeable.
And he indicates that we will find the explanation and guidance of what will happen, in the messages of La Salette, Fatima and Garabandal.
And he went on to say.
"The war that has already begun will increase.
There will be droughts, great storms and earthquakes in various parts of the world."
Messages in nature we have been talking about.
And then he recommends what to do.
"As My Divine Son says: when you hear these rumors, do not be afraid!
Always use the Miraculous Medal from today, and distribute it also among your flock.
Sickness will not be the only evil that will spread; spiritual evil will be worse.
Sickness, however, will be a great scourge.
Place the medal of St. Benedict on the door and do not forget to wear the scapular.
Have blessed candles, blessed oil and holy water.
Have no more doubts about the Oil of the Good Samaritan, bless it and use it.
Try to maintain the state of grace, because the demons will attack humanity with very strong temptations, especially against priests."
And Our Lady asks him for prayer.
"Pray for them and pray also for you, who are also a priest. Always remember who you are!
Pray also for your bishop and for all bishops.
Pray much for the Holy Father, fasting and making sacrifices for him.
I, your Mother and Queen, will be with all those who have entrusted themselves to My care and I will not leave any of My children helpless, as I have promised many times.
I must warn you: these times are part of what I said in My Third Secret, in Portugal".
Our Lady reminds us of the promise of Her protection.
And an additional message that Father Oliveira received is that Francis will have to make a very difficult decision in 2023.
And then Our Lady tells Father that She will give him a sign that he asked for, this sign is not for us, so it may never be made public.
"On October 13 I will give you a sign, as you asked me; that is why I showed you this date."
Our Lady went on to say,
"There will be a great devastation from Russia, caused by the Dragon of Hell.
This will cause harm to the whole world.
But do not be afraid!"
And finally she tells you how to guard yourself spiritually.
"This will be the auspicious time for sainthood.
Remember that the great saints appeared in times of great darkness.
Times of tribulation, especially this one, should not be faced with fear and cowardice, but with love and courage.
Look, son, this is why I have called you in this hour, to remember and proclaim that the opportune time for holiness is now, not tomorrow.
Eucharistic adoration must be your anchor, and the chain of this anchor, the Holy Rosary.
Eucharistic Adoration, acts of reparation and sacrifices, united to the Holy Rosary, can change all prophecies."
Attention. Our Lady says here that these prophecies are conditional on the conversion that is happening, so that this prophecy is not indelibly decreed.
She continues.
"Do not forget this: Adoration and the Holy Rosary.
Do penance, offer sacrifices for the salvation of souls, for the conversion of sinners and the sanctification of the Clergy.
Remember that the Lord knows all things and ordains all things. Soon the triumph of My Immaculate Heart will come!
Remain faithful during this time of purification, trust in the help of your Guardian Angel.
The hour of the saints has come.
Pray, dear child, pray and watch, as I have called you today."
And in closing, Our Lady gave him the passage from Ecclesiasticus 18:7-14 to meditate on.
There is a part of this message that remains secret, only 3 people besides the priest know it.
Father Oliveira's visions began in 2020.
And he has been shown images of what would happen in different years.
One in 2020 was that the Warning, prophesied in Garabandal, was near.
And in 2029 he saw a great light and the flag of Japan.
