Francis' Penal Laws: Bishop Schneider Celebrated In Gym
The Latin Mass Society organised a Pontifical Low Mass in Milton Keynes, 1.5 hours’ drive from London, on November 26.
The celebrant was Bishop Athanasius Schneider. He also gave a talk on “Restoring All Things in Christ.”
Due to Traditionis custodes the Mass was celebrated in the gym of St Paul's Catholic School while local St Edward's Church was empty, a reminder of the Penal Laws (1554-1829).
The beautifully improvised altar contrasted with the basketball hoop, floor, and plastic chairs.
