Dead: 32-Year-Old Priest Collapses
At least a thousand people attended the funeral of Don Roberto Pozzi. The funeral was presided over by Bishop Maurizio Malvestiti of Lodi, Italy.
The 32-year-old was an assistant priest in Paullo. He was not ashamed to walk around the town in his black cassock.
At around 2pm, Don Pozzi was driving home from a lunch with the elderly when he suddenly started feeling unwell. He managed to park his car in Piazza Marconi in Paullo. Some passers-by assisted him and called the paramedics. An ambulance took him to San Raffaele Hospital in Milan, where he died a few hours later in intensive care.
Don Roberto was ordained a priest on 4 July 2020. It is likely that he had received the Covid injections, so highly recommended by Francis, which now claim many lives, especially in Don Roberto's age group.
