As Blick reported on the weekend of the Zurich children's shooting festival, the president of Operation Libero promoted the sport of shooting.
However, the target Ameti chose for her shooting practice is much less pleasant. She used the image of a historic panel of Mary with the Christ Child. And he also had the gall to proudly post the photo with the 21 bullet holes on his Instagram account.
In view of the various murders and assassination attempts by Islamists in Switzerland, as well as in Germany and the rest of Europe, it seems rather absurd that the Muslim Sanija Ameti, who hails from Bosnia, would shoot at the figures of Jesus and Mary, central to the Christian faith. Incidentally, the baby Jesus received fourteen hits in the head region from Ameti's firearm, and St. Mary received four.
The head of Operation Libero has since removed the publication "because people might feel that their religious feelings were hurt." The word "might" doesn't exactly sound like true remorse. The photograph for the shooting at ten meters was taken from a catalog of the Koller gallery: "I didn't pay attention to the content of the images."
Whoever wants to believe it, let him believe it. Now Sanija Ameti reveals, "That was absolutely stupid of me."
