Sister Lucia Caram, a Dominican nun and homosexual activist, was at the
centre of an embarrassing scene in Rome today, InfoVaticana.com reports.
The Spanish priest Julio Romero Fernández, who belongs to the diocese of Cartagena-Murcia recognised her on the street.
He
politely advised the Argentinean nun to be "more careful" with her
posts on social networks and statements on television. Among other
things, Sister Caram has publicly accused Tucho Fernández of being a
practising homosexual.
Faced with this fraternal advice, Sister
Caram unfortunately lost her temper. She lashed out at the priest,
calling him a "traditionalist" and a "sedevacantist", which for her were
insults.
Sister Caram then revealed that she had permission from
Francis to "say what she wants" (sic). She even threatened the priest
that this "incident" would have serious consequences for him and that
she would report him to the Spanish Bishops' Conference.
The polite priest walked away, leaving her to her fury.
