Don Natale Santonocito, 61, a Sicilian priest from the diocese of Palestrina near Rome, has committed the crime of all crimes.
In a video statement he said that Francis is an antipope.
Don
Natale analyses that Francis' pontificate is leaving a scar within the
Church that is difficult to heal, and that priests all over the world
are increasingly saying that Francis is not a legitimate pope or that he
is a heretic.
"We are in one of the greatest moments of internal
division within the Church, provoked by the inexplicable attitudes of
the Vatican Curia, which are creating a disaffection towards the Pope
and his ministers that is difficult to heal," Don Santonocito explains.
The statement was published on the feast of the Immaculate Conception, at 5.30 pm, on Don Natale's channel 'Queen of Peace'.
The priest believes that Benedict XVI "did not renounce the papacy" and therefore "the so-called Francis is not pope",
According
to him, Benedict XVI - "imprisoned, confined, exiled" - was a kind of
martyr who "offered himself to his passion [like Christ]" and "accepted
to be dethroned by an abusive conclave". But if this were true, a
compliant Benedict XVI would not have been a martyr, but a traitor to
the Apostolic See.
Don Natale explains that "all the doctrinal
errors pronounced by Bergoglio, which have scandalised many, are nothing
more than the obvious confirmation that he is not Pope".
"I am a poor priest who loves the Church, I love Jesus and I can no longer be silent," writes Don Natale in all honesty.
"For
some time I celebrated Mass in communion with the antipope. I didn't
really feel that I was in communion with him, but I had to mention his
name when I celebrated, and it killed me in my heart. When I understood
the canonical reality, I realised that I could no longer pronounce his
name during Mass,' the Sicilian priest adds.
At least Don Santonocito has the courage to stand up for his beliefs, which is rare for Catholic priests.
