In Rome, the transvestite went to receive Communion

The transvestite Ms Pignatella, who goes by the name "James Scott" in legal documents and probably suffers side effects from male hormones, met Francis after a Wednesday general audience in October.

But Francis barely looked at Pignatella (NewWaysMinistry.org, December 23): "All I had time for as we touched hands was 'Hola Papa Francisco, yo soy Scotty Pignatella.'"

Francis, seated in a wheelchair and surrounded by assistants, was quickly moved to some homosexual men on the right: " I barely got my name out, and I wasn't sure he had heard that."

Result: "I was so very disappointed."

Pignatella has gone back and forth between the American Anglicans and the Catholic Church. The self-made religion: "I have nothing to repent for in fully living my life."

In Rome, Pignatella went to receive Communion "for the first time in probably a few years" [and to the own downfall].
