St. Margaret Mary Alacoque says: Rosary of St. Joseph, model and patron of lovers of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Contemplate the 8 mysteries:
1. The angel's announcement that what was conceived in Mary is the work of the Holy Spirit.
2. The search for an inn in Bethlehem.
3. The birth of the child Jesus in Bethlehem.
4. The presentation of the child Jesus in the temple
offering a pair of turtledoves or two doves.
5. The flight to Egypt with Jesus and Mary.
6. The return of the Holy Family to Nazareth.
7. The loss and finding of the child Jesus in the temple.
8. The glorious death of St. Joseph in the arms of Jesus and Mary.
Repeat 7 times between each mystery (in honor of the 7 sorrows and 7 joys of St. Joseph):
V/ St. Joseph, custodian and protector of the United and pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary.
R/ Inflame my heart so that in it alone may reign, my God, Jesus, as he reigned in your holy heart.
Instead of the glory:
Jesus, Joseph and Mary, I give you my heart and soul.
At the end of the rosary, repeat 3 times:
V/ St. Joseph, model and patron of lovers of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
R/ Pray for us
