Francis met with representatives of the Conrad Hilton Foundation on
January 22 and praised the American group for its alleged special
commitment to supporting Catholic sisters.
The Hilton Foundation allegedly helped the Church overcome its alleged "patriarchal mindset, he said.
Francis went on to claim that the foundation's dubious philanthropy is a "testimony of love".
And:
"You have chosen to actively engage yourselves in the promotion of
human dignity, personally, with passion and compassion, like the Good
Samaritan."
The foundation has grown to amass over $7 billion in
assets. They do support Catholic sisters to the tune of over $614
million to over 300 groups in 30 countries.
But millions are also
given to promote "reproductive and sexual health care," a euphemism for
contraception and abortion. One example: A $750,000 grant goes to the
so-called 'California Latinas for Reproductive Justice', which promotes
"abortion as health care" and access to abortion pills.
