French politician Jean-Marie Le Pen, 96, who died on January 7, received
the last rites in the Roman rite last November from Abbé Philippe
Laguérie, founder of the Institute of the Good Shepherd.
The
information was shared by Fr. Alban Denis of the Institute of Christ the
King during a recent podcast of Le Club des Hommes en Noir (video
below). He was told by Abbé Laguérie.
As Jean-Marie Le Pen
received the last rites, he regained consciousness and began to sing a
French Catholic hymn that he knew by heart.
After Le Pen's death,
a large crowd of disrespectful activists gathered in Paris with rainbow
flags to celebrate the death of Jean-Marie Le Pen. "He's dead!" chanted
the activists.
