The Archdiocese of Indianapolis is investigating a possible Eucharistic
miracle at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Morris, Indiana, according to a
local television station.
On February 21, 2025, two (!) consecrated hosts were dropped separately during a Eucharist.
In accordance with standard protocol, they were placed in water for dissolution and then in the tabernacle.
The
next day, the female sacristan observed what appeared to be blood
stains on the hosts. The woman showed them to the priest, who preserved
them for further examination.
The archdiocese may refer this matter to the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith in Rome for an investigation.
