If silence in the presence of God is necessary to be able to hear His voice, it is also necessary in your interior to know at every moment what God Most High wants from you. Children of God, you must avoid vain and careless words, laughter, gibberish, you must avoid vulgar, obscene and exaggerated language. The souls who live in a state of grace must tend to continuous perfection, and see in every instant, the way of acting that pleases the Most High God the most.
If you often have silence in your lives, you will find the answer to many of your questions, and whoever has inner and outer silence, will always act according to what God wants of him at every moment.
But also, children of God, those of you who have apostolic missions, you must be souls of silence in order to hear My voice within you and the steps and decisions that you must take at every moment. I do not ask you to annul your sense of humor and your good nature, only that you moderate it and know when you have to be silent and when you can expand with your good humor. Sometimes you do not know in certain missions what steps you should take and you ask the Lord in prayer what you should do, and there you find the answer, because in the silence before the presence of God, you know how to listen to My voice that guides you and orients you. But you cannot always place yourselves in prayer because of your daily obligations, therefore, even if you do not place yourselves in prayer, if you keep inner and outer silence, you will know how to find the right answer. Souls of God who are destined to concrete missions in the Mystical Body of the Church, you must be souls of silence and recollection, and use your good humor more moderately and when appropriate.
