It is the day of the Passion of Christ. Even Nature is moved when He expires. His Mother at the foot of the Cross, held by the holy women, did not succumb. She wants to accompany her Son to the end. No one can understand, nor appreciate in all its magnitude, the pain of the Blessed Virgin, it was a cruel torment to see her Son as she saw Him, knowing that He was God.
Seeing her Son in that condition, torn from head to foot, lacerated in all parts, she understood with special lights, the gravity of sin, the ugliness and malice of it. What she would not have done to put herself in the place of her Divine Son! Everything would have seemed little to her to alleviate in something, the physical and moral pains of her only begotten Son.
She endured with intense love the sword of pain that pierced her soul and offered it to the Eternal Father to add her sorrow, her bitterness to that of Her Beloved Son, and the Heavenly Father accepted it. Therefore, Our Lady's power in Heaven is unique. She did on earth at all times the Divine Will and so in Heaven, she who denied nothing on earth to God, God denies nothing to her in Heaven.
But the suffering accepted on earth by the souls is a very great guarantee for Heaven. The soul acquires vertiginously unthinkable merits, they are blessed who shine with different lights in eternity. They advance in a short (time) what it takes others years, the suffering accepted and united to those of Christ, becomes the redeemer of souls and (united to that of Christ) in a certain way, it is infinite. But for it to have this value, it is necessary to accept it and if it is also accepted with love, suffering is the best pearl that can be presented to God.
You, dear souls, who fear suffering so much, do not know what you are missing. To suffer is to advance on God's path by leaps and bounds. Accepted suffering has all the ingredients. It has patience, penance, hope, faith, love and many, many more virtues. It is a dish with all kinds of combinations, it lacks nothing, and the Heavenly Father has prepared a special place in Heaven for the soul that suffers and accepts its situation. Because whoever suffers in this life, subtracts Purgatory in the next, makes reparation not only for his sins, but for those of many souls, they are like "earthly Christs" who accept and carry their cross, every day. It is the prolongation of the Passion of Christ of which St. Paul speaks.
Therefore, Christian souls, accept your crosses with love and add them to that of Christ Jesus, so that He, in you, may continue to redeem sinful humanity. I am the Divine Spirit, Third Person of the Most Holy Trinity who speaks to you. I Am the Spirit of Love. Peace be with you.
