You are all brothers in Almighty God, and therefore, brothers must help one another, so children of God, consider that in your environment you have people who are suffering shortages, and many needs. It is true that giving alms can produce in some people human respects, because it gives some hesitation to reach out directly to those who need it in your environment, well, so that no one feels hurt by the direct help, children go to your parishes and give to your parish priests alms and donations for the help of the neediest, and the pastor will take care of getting what you donate.
Give for books during school time, give for food, give for medicine, give your donations for the poor, because this is also one of the facets of the Christian life and you must also demonstrate there that you are children of God the Father Almighty and brothers of Christ your Lord. Remember the words of the Gospel, what you did with one of these brothers of Mine, you did with Me, so when you give, do it with this spirit of brotherhood, of love for God, so that you do not become conceited or proud of what you give.
I was hungry and you gave Me to eat, I was thirsty and you gave Me to drink, I was naked and you clothed Me, yes children of God, yes, do what the Gospel asks of you, so that your final judgment may be benevolent. But you must also give another kind of food, such as company to the lonely, such as listening to those who need to talk and unburden themselves, such as helping those who have many physical burdens. Be charitable and merciful as Christ Jesus was, as His Holy Mother was, be true and authentic Christians, because you must not only fulfill spiritual commitments, but you must also extend your hand to the most needy.
