The world is wondering why Bergoglio has been the most celebrated Pope in the history of the Church.
Acclaimed,
applauded, glorified, praised and magnified, mind you, not by Catholics
(who, on the contrary, have expressed considerable criticism of him),
but by atheists, agnostics, pagans, Freemasons and followers of all
religions.
It is impossible to summarise in a few lines the many
reasons why Pope Francis has almost (but not quite) succeeded in
surpassing in fame the superior he was supposed to serve.
The
dethronement of the Most High and the enthronement of himself is easily
discernible in Francis' last words to his faithful followers.
His
predecessors left the earthly dimension with their eyes turned upwards.
The last words of Pius VI, deposed and exiled Pope: "Lord, forgive
them".
The last words of Pope Pius VIII: "Lord, I have always believed, now I believe".
The last words of Pius IX: 'Protect the Church I have loved so much'.
Pope Leo XIII's last words in Latin: 'Valete omnes'.
Pope Pius XI's last words: "Everything belongs to God, everything is for God".
The last words of Pope Paul VI: "Pater Noster".
John Paul II's last words: "Let me go to my Father's house".
And finally, the last words of Benedict XVI: "Lord, I love you!"
What were the last words of Pope Francis? "Thank you for bringing me to the square".
With
twelve years of papal pampering down here, getting rid of the
competition was child's play! Whether the boss liked it, we do not know.
