April 12 - Today is the 78th Anniversary of the Apparition of the VIRGIN OF THE REVELATION to the late visionary,

.Bruno was a violent anti-Catholic, atheistic Protestant who belonged to the Seventh Day Adventists denomination. He planned the assassination of Pope Pius XII by purchasing a dagger and carved the words on the handle: “Death to the Pope”. On the afternoon of 12 April 1947, he had prepared a blasphemous speech denigrating the holy person and privileges of the Mother of God. It is through these circumstances that God intervened by sending him His Most Holy Mother on that sunny, spring day.
Our Lady had appeared to him and was also witnessed by his three children; reprimanding him for persecuting Her so fiercely. She then entrusted him with many prophecies concerning the Holy Church and many world events that were contained in the secret. The mystery of the Assumption which was soon to be proclaimed as a dogma of the Catholic Faith by Pope Pius XII on November 1, 1950 was also revealed by Our Lady to Bruno Cornacchiola.
After the Marian apparition, Bruno was converted from being a severe persecutor into a staunch defender of the Roman Catholic Church. He had claimed a total of 28 apparitions of the Virgin Mary from 1947 until 1986. He passed away on Friday, 22 June 2001 during the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
In 1997, (Pope) Saint John Paul II had given the name to the Marian sanctuary: “HOLY MARY OF THE THIRD MILLENNIUM OF TRE FONTANE”.
