Being God, the only Sovereign Lord, Omnipotent and thrice Holy, He lowered Himself from His rank to become man, limited and subject to all the limitations of human nature.
Christ Jesus is a God who becomes Man, for love of man and for love of humanity lost and led astray by sin. Whoever contemplates even a little this mystery of the Incarnation will be surprised at every moment of its greatness, for no one has done so much for souls and has cost him so much to redeem them.
The scope of this sublime mystery will only be understood in the next life, when free from all human bonds, and free from the bonds of the flesh, one will understand the immensity of love that led the Only Begotten, the Second Person of the Most Holy Trinity, to become Flesh.
But this mystery, which there is no other that equals it in greatness, will be understood by those who are saved for their joy, and by those who are condemned for their greater torment. I am the Divine Spirit who speaks to you.
The souls who possess Me like to meditate on these mysteries because from them they draw nourishment for their souls, nourishment that is not perishable and that nourishes the soul like nothing else.
Mary Most Holy meditated on this mystery even before she knew that she would be the one to give flesh to the Redeemer, for she was instructed in the Sacred Scriptures and ardently awaited the coming of the Messiah, who would be born of a virgin.
And when She saw that the greatest mystery in the history of Creation was about to be produced in Her most pure womb, this contemplation of it continued throughout her life, and she drew spiritual nourishment for her soul from this great mystery. Her husband, Joseph, did the same. Although the Eucharist had not yet been instituted in their time, the contemplation of all this nourished both of them so much in their souls that they constantly grew in merit and holiness.
Souls who cannot receive the Eucharist, either because there is no one to administer it to them in their places of residence, or due to (physical) disability, or some other reason, can nourish their souls with the contemplation of any mystery of the Redeemer's life, and I, the Divine Spirit, will give them My gifts and fruits so that the contemplation of those mysteries, whatever they may be, may give them more life of grace in their souls and help them receive My gifts and fruits. I, the Divine Spirit, speak to you.
Children of God and of Holy Mother Church, call upon Me often and ask for My assistance in every spiritual act you perform. I, the Spirit of God, instruct you. The peace of the Most Holy Trinity be with you all.
