Farmers are urged to feed cows chemicals to reduce the methane they emit
You may have heard of Bovaer. This feed additive that farmers are supposedly supposed to give to their cows to produce less methane, thereby somehow improving the climate.
This chemical is gradually being added to our dairy products in hopes that people won't discover it.
Norwegian farmers have been informed that all cows must be fed Bovaer starting in 2027.
Now, farmers have stepped forward warning that they could lose up to $90,000 in government subsidies if they refuse to feed their cows this chemical.
This means that all farmers are practically forced to feed their cows this product, as they cannot afford to refuse. "I have young children in the barn. Bovaer is toxic and requires personal protective equipment. Could the dust from the feed harm my children? I dare not take the risk," farmer Ellen Hartveit tells Document.
So there you have it. The farmers themselves are sounding the alarm because cows are being fed a toxic chemical, all in the name of climate change.
In Norway, they tried to sell this chemical to the public under the label "climate milk." But no one wanted to buy it. So they simply stopped selling it and mixed it with regular milk.
But now the government will practically force all farmers to give this substance to their cows anyway.
I was one of the first journalists to warn about this in 2023.
Bovaer actually consists of a chemical called 3-nitrooxipropanol, which is manufactured from highly corrosive nitric acid.
According to official documents, 3-nitrooxipropanol is:
Harmful if swallowed
Causes skin irritation
Causes serious eye damage
Suspected of harming fertility or the fetus
In fact, researchers found that the chemical can also be toxic to DNA (genotoxicity).
Researchers also discovered that the chemical is highly toxic to sperm production in rats, causing a "severe reduction in spermatogenesis."
Female rats also could not become pregnant when given a sufficiently high dose of this substance.
Guess what!
The company behind Bovaer is DSM-Firmenich AG. Do you guess who donated money to this company (though not specifically for the development of Bovaer)?
None other than Bill Gates, who donated an impressive sum of $5,346,859.
