Confess mortal sins from a past life

I am the Divine Spirit speaking to you. Not everyone possesses Me because there are those who believe they live in a state of grace and are dead (spiritually) due to the mortal sin that lurks in their souls and that they never confessed.

Living a good life of piety and spiritual commitment in the present does not mean that you do not have to confess past sins that dwell within you and are poison for your growth in holiness. There are souls who have committed adultery, fraud, lies, slander, and other sins. These sins must be confessed because they are serious and mortal. Therefore, children of God, even though you now live a life of piety and spiritual commitments, I, the Spirit of God, urge you to enter into your spirits and make a thorough examination of conscience in order to make a good general confession of your entire past life.

This will cleanse your souls of serious things you have committed and whose memory many no longer have. It is better to confess everything than to excuse yourselves by saying that God, being merciful, forgives everything. Yes, God, three times Holy, forgives everything, but you must do your part, because confession is a sacrament that cleanses and renews and helps you grow in sanctifying grace. I, the Spirit of God, speak to you.

Children of God Most High, I am speaking of sins that you did not confess. If you had already confessed them, it is not necessary to confess them again if it causes you scruples of conscience, although it would be beneficial to cleanse your consciences more thoroughly and eradicate once and for all those despicable actions that you committed in the eyes of God Most High.

Putting a clean garment over a dirty one does not mean that the clean garment cleans the dirty one. Likewise, even if you now have a clean life after a life of sin, if you do not confess those sins that exist in God's eternal present, you are not completely clean, because you still have sins that you have not washed away in the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

I am the Spirit of God, Sanctifier of souls. I call you to true holiness, not incomplete holiness. The fact that you now live facing God does not exempt you from confessing the evil you did in the past to the Mystical Body of Christ and to your own soul. Now that it is a time of conversion, a time of Lent, a time of penance, wash yourselves in the Sacrament of Forgiveness and turn your faces to God, cleansed of sin. Children of God, pray the Miserere during these days of penance and apply it to yourselves. I, the Spirit of God, speak to you and give you the peace of the Holy Trinity.
