Bug Hall "canceled" himself from Hollywood for God and lives "like a pauper" in the woods with his five children.
Bug Hall was one of the most recognizable child actors of the 1990s. According to the Daily Mail, his monthly expenses are practically limited to fuel for his generator and two cell phone bills. His goal, he says, is to live without relying on a steady income: if a specific need arises, he accepts occasional jobs paid in cash.
Hall says he gave up the money he earned as an actor for religious reasons. He describes himself as a "radical Catholic" and maintains that his vow of poverty was a spiritual decision.
