In heaven, souls constantly praise God, and on earth, sin also constantly dishonors Him. The blessed ARE ALREADY GLORIFIED SOULS FILLED WITH LOVE BECAUSE THEY OVERCAME THE EARTHLY TRIAL AND NOW ENJOY THE EXPECTED AND DESERVED REWARD. Their songs reach the Throne of the Most Holy Trinity like angelic melodies. The blessed are the glory of God, and God is their joy.
In heaven, everything is harmony, joy, and peace. There, they love one another in God, for they live submerged in His Essence, and everyone enjoys it according to the merits they earned. They see their Holy Guardian Angels, with whom they communicate and, at times, send to help their relatives who are still on earth. The most beautiful things on earth—the most stunning and unique landscapes of this world—are nothing compared to heavenly joys. The most beautiful melodies of the great classics bear no comparison to the celestial melodies or the songs of the angelic choirs.
There, joy is the habitat of the blessed. There, everything is peace and order; everything is in its right measure; everything is governed by God.
There, the Will of God is done at all times; hence, as a consequence of doing this Will, everything is beauty and harmony. For it is the failure to fulfill this Will that makes the earth a dunghill, a container of sins and abominable actions.
Whoever fulfills the Will of God on earth tastes a little (while still upon it) of what their beatitude will be, but it is a tiny fraction compared to what awaits them. No one in the human plane could withstand even a bit of celestial joy, for they would die of love and happiness. Thus, the life of faith is so important; for if in this life faith were to be opened and we saw with our eyes what we believe through faith, our bodies would be struck down by the greatness of the vision.
