News | UK Gay and bisexual people have a shorter life expectancy

 

 


 

Gay people have a lower life expectancy than people who identify as heterosexual, data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) has revealed.

Life expectancy for men identifying as LGB+ was 1.2 years lower when compared with men identifying as straight or heterosexual, living an additional 59.4 years and 60.7 years respectively.
