In 1636, Jesus made a promise to Venerable Margaret of the Holy Sacrament, a Carmelite nun from the convent in Beaune, France.
Christ assured her: “Everything that you wish to ask, ask it through the merits of my infancy, and nothing will be refused to you.”
The nun, who passed away at the age of 30, received the mission of especially spreading devotion to the Divine Infancy of Jesus.
"Remember, O sweetest Child Jesus! that You said to the venerable Margaret of the Holy Sacrament, and in her person to all Your devotees, these words so consoling for our poor, burdened, and suffering humanity: 'Everything that you wish to ask, ask it through the merits of my infancy and nothing will be refused to you.'"
