The Synodal Church knows how to pick them

If I had a choice as to who should be tinkering with Canon law, a Freemason-promoting Cardinal who patronizes homosexual, drug-taking clergy, would probably not be on my list at all.

But then again, I am Catholic and operate according to a different set of standards than the debauched folks over in the Synodal cesspool. Whether this sort of thing even bothers the average man in the synodal pew is a mystery to me, and if it does then the obvious question would be, why still claim it is the Catholic Church?

If what is about to follow was an isolated incident, we might have been able to look the other way. However, it comes on the heels of yet another similar scandal where “Bishop” Emanuel Shaleta of the Chaldean Catholic Diocese of St. Peter the Apostle in San Diego was arrested and jailed on several financial crimes, including embezzlement and money laundering involving hundreds of thousands of dollars. He also stands accused of visiting an upmarket whorehouse 12 times in a single month!

The Synodal Church sure knows how to pick them.

But on to our story. The recent report that “Cardinal” Francesco Coccopalmerio proposes altering canon law in order to expand the role of the laity in the governance of the Church offers another revealing window into the fruits of the modern Synodal Vatican who has turned its back on Christ and Catholicism.

In a newly presented volume entitled Synodal Church on the Move: A Pastoral Reinterpretation of the Final Document of the Synod of Bishops 2023–2024, Coccopalmerio suggests modifying canon 212 of the Code of Canon Law so that the laity might cooperate more directly in the governance of the Church. (Note that the title does not say “Catholic Church on the move…- Ed.). According to the “cardinal”, the faithful possess a “relative duty and right” not only to express their opinions but to participate in determining the direction of ecclesiastical life. This is of course not compatible with the traditional doctrine concerning the constitution of the Church as established by Christ.
