Called to be saints

## Jesus says:

Holiness is not exclusive to a specific group of people; **all of you are called to be saints** right there in the place where God has put you, faithfully fulfilling the duties that your state in life obliges you to perform.

Walk in the **odor of sanctity**, living my Word and making the Gospel the rule of your lives. Be bearers of my heavenly Fragrance, so that wherever you pass, others may perceive my sweet perfume through the living of my commandments and by being faithful to the **Magisterium of the Church** as a secure doctrine that brings you closer to heaven.

Battle in this pernicious world, invaded by fallacies and vain philosophies, by turning to the fountain of my Word. Let yourselves be imbued with its message—a message that will allow you to clothe yourselves in new garments.

**Meditate on the lives of the Saints** and imitate them in their virtues. Just as they, in constant struggle, knew how to refine their passions as gold or silver is refined, you too are called to be purified of your concupiscences, receiving the brilliance of celestial bodies. Crucify your human nature day by day until you resemble Me, as a glorious body.

Understand that **to be a saint is to love Me immensely** and to avoid grieving my Heart. It is to aspire to the gifts of heaven and not to those of the earth. It is to long ardently to receive my Body and my Blood, filling your heart with my Divine presence. It is to walk on earth, but with your heart and eyes fixed on heaven, as true heralds of the Gospel.

Arm yourselves with my Holy Word and proclaim it aloud as you travel the roads, leaving behind your weariness and fatigue, with the confidence that you will reach the goal of the promised heaven. If men had the light and **beatific vision** of the Holy Angels, they would suffer sweetly for Me, rejoicing in their cross; for the cross, borne with love, is the door that allows you to enter into the depths of heaven.

Perfume your hearts with the **purest nard of holiness**, making yourselves true messengers of my peace.
