### **The Attack on Amazon**
On the previous day, the *Financial Times*, citing a person familiar with the matter, reported that the multinational's building was damaged in an Iranian attack. Bahrain's Ministry of Interior reported that civil defense teams were extinguishing a fire at a company facility, without providing details on casualties or damages.

### **Aggression Against Iran**
In the early hours of February 28, Israel and the U.S. initiated a joint aggression with the stated goal of "eliminating threats" from the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The bombings caused the death of **Ayatollah Ali Khamenei** and several high-ranking military officials, including the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, **Ali Larijani**; the commander of the Basij militia, **Gholamreza Soleimani**; and the Iranian Intelligence Minister, **Esmaeil Khatib**. Subsequently, **Mojtaba Khamenei**, son of the late Iranian Supreme Leader, was chosen as his successor.

In retaliation for the attacks, Tehran has launched numerous waves of ballistic missiles and drones against Israel and U.S. bases in Middle Eastern countries. Additionally, in response to attacks on its energy infrastructure, it carried out a series of massive strikes hitting "oil facilities linked to the United States" in several Middle Eastern nations.

Furthermore, Iran has almost completely blocked the **Strait of Hormuz**, a maritime route through which approximately 20% of all globally traded oil and gas flows, causing fuel prices to skyrocket.
