## **The UN Attempts to Redefine ‘Children’s Rights’ to Promote Abortion and Gender Ideology**
The United Nations aims to undermine parental rights and child safety by redefining “children’s rights” to include access to abortion and the promotion of LGBT ideology.
From January 12 to 30, the United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child (CRC) is meeting to discuss the implementation of its newly drafted Convention on the Rights of the Child, which includes a blueprint to promote abortion and gender confusion among children.
> “Mechanisms should treat claims submitted by girls in the same way as other children, taking into account their specific experiences, and address any discrimination in access based on gender—for example, by refraining from imposing any requirement for approval by a male family member, especially for claims related to sexual and reproductive health and rights,” stated draft General Comment No. 27.
The draft promised to address several alleged “violations of children’s rights” by ensuring “effective access to safe abortion services for adolescent girls.”
Furthermore, the draft pledged to protect the rights of “lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex children.” Additionally, it called on States to “adopt a gender-transformative approach, including recognizing the gendered nature of certain rights violations and properly investigating related claims.”
