Exorcist Father Chad Ripperger told Tucker Carlson that the United States has surrendered to the power of five high-level demons, sometimes known by exorcists as "the Generals."
In an interview released on Good Friday, Ripperger told Carlson that the country is suffering a greater demonic attack than it has historically experienced.
The exorcist stated that, based on the common experience of exorcists throughout the centuries, five powerful demons known by different names—such as "the Council" and "the Generals"—have been ordered by Satan to execute his plans in the world.
Of this group, Baal, the "demon of fornication and impurity," was the first to take control of the United States. Once the U.S. abolished laws against fornication and legalized pornography, the country "ceded the territory to Baal," according to Ripperger.
Impurity opens the doors for demons of homosexuality to take hold. "We hear this from St. Paul: if people give in to lust, eventually men start sleeping with men and women with women," Ripperger told Carlson.
Furthermore, he shared that there are three demons of homosexuality, the first being Asmodeus, a demon of impurity and "specifically of homosexuality in men."
Ripperger discovered that if a possessed man has had a homosexual experience, "there is a high probability that Asmodeus is one of the possessors," although he emphasized that homosexual ideation does not always have a diabolical origin, but is often driven by psychological factors.
However, if a heterosexual man has a homosexual thought, it is usually not his own thought but a diabolical one, he added.
One of the current problems in our culture is that "we are creating perverts," because the media shapes people's minds to make inappropriate associations, Ripperger continued. This has been exacerbated, above all, by the consumption of pornography, to which some men attribute their homosexuality. One study revealed that the more frequently pornography is consumed, the higher the probability of identifying as bisexual.
The exorcist priest went on to explain that women are influenced by two demons of homosexuality: Lilith, the demon of homosexuality acting in lesbian women who are "more passive and feminine," and Leviathan, "the more aggressive type of homosexuality demon" acting in masculine lesbian women.
According to Ripperger, when the United States legalized same-sex "marriage," the country surrendered to this "level of homosexual diabolical influence."
The last of the five "generals" is the demon of child sacrifice, primarily known by exorcists as Baphomet, but also as Moloch. In the United States, child sacrifice is practiced mainly through abortion; therefore, when the killing of the unborn was legalized, the country fell under the dominion of this demon.
These five demons now dominate the United States, "so their influence is extremely powerful," Ripperger said.
We know this is the case partly because abortion is extraordinarily difficult to ban in the United States, "like pulling a tooth without anesthesia."
"It is tremendously difficult to achieve, and that is because demons are empowering people to maintain it, because demons love abortion," Ripperger told Carlson.
Carlson admitted at the beginning of the interview that, as a Protestant, he had been instilled with the idea that exorcism was something flamboyant that the Latin Church practiced for strange sectarian reasons. However, upon starting to read the Scriptures, he was surprised to discover that the first miracle Jesus Christ performs in the Gospel of Mark is the casting out of a demon.
"Casting out demons is not something casual; it is fundamental to the Gospels," Carlson observed.
Father Ripperger noted that, in fact, 23 percent of the Gospels deal with Christ "dealing with demons."
During his interview with Carlson, Ripperger also spoke about the nature of demons, how they attack people, demonic influence on public figures, how communists reflect diabolical psychology, and how people become possessed.
