Pro-homosexual Cardinal Tucho Fernández - who is a soft porn author and Prefect of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith - is preparing for clerics who will leave the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X after the episcopal consecration in Écône on 1 July.
According to Nico Spuntoni, Leo XIV is planning an arrangement for those clerics from the Priestly Fraternity who do not intend to remain in it following a further break with Rome.
Leo XIV will treat the Priestly Fraternity as schismatics and impose penalties. Spuntoni did not find out whether the planned excommunication would apply only to the bishops or to other clerics as well.
