Several Maltese Catholic priests have privately expressed their support for Jesrit Angel Camilleri, an evangelical preacher and supporter of Israel, for his criticism of Islam.
According to a video dated 12 May, these priests "wanted to speak publicly but were allegedly prevented from doing so" by the pro-homosexual Archbishop Charles Scicluna of Malta.
