Gentleness is something that few people possess. Nowadays, there is a tendency to be despotic and to say things with harshness and insolence. Gentle people are few and far between. If there is a traffic accident, instead of resolving the matter amicably, people confront each other, insult one another, and hurl all kinds of abuse.
I am Mary, the Gentle One par excellence. I am Goodness made flesh. No one was ever as gentle and kind as I. I forgave the enemies of My Son, and I did so kindly. I am Mary Immaculate, the Daughter upon whom the Father looked with favor, and I want you, My children, who pray to Me, praise Me, and honor Me, to be gentle with one another.
An act of gentleness toward your neighbor honors Me more than a Hail Mary prayed assiduously. I ask you to imitate Me in all My virtues, because I am Your Mother and children should resemble their Mother. If you say that you love Me and honor Me by praying the Holy Rosary, and yet you do not tolerate your neighbor, nor bear their flaws, you are not worthy children of Mine.
I endured harsh trials in My life. The flight to Egypt, the scarcity of goods, the uncertainty because Herod was seeking My Son to kill Him, the sorrow over the death of the Holy Innocents—I suffered very harsh trials and never lost My gentleness. I offered everything to the Heavenly Father and prayed incessantly for the enemies of My Son, from the time Herod was searching for Him until the day of the Crucifixion. I endured losing My Son while He was still a child for three agonizing days, and I saw My husband Joseph suffer for the Child and for Me, and I never reproached him for anything so as not to increase his pain, since he felt guilty, though he was not.
I was the Gentle Woman who, in every bitterness of life, did not lose Her gentleness nor allow Herself to be influenced by pain, so that no one ever noticed the bitter cups I had to drink in My life.
My children, love one another as My Son loved you. Do not honor Me only during the time of the rosary—which I thank you for—but honor Me also in your demeanor toward others. At work, at home, in your neighborhood communities, at every moment let them see that you are children of Mary, My children. And as Your Mother that I am, turn to Me in your needs, and instruct others to do so, because I, Mary, am the Mother of Mercy; and if I forgave and interceded for the cruel enemies of My Son, what will I not do for you who love Me, even if at times you must restrain your temper and bad mood?
I love you, My children; you also bring Me comfort many times. I listen to your rosaries with great love and apply them to what you ask of Me and even more. May the peace of My Divine Son be with you always!
