Aquí tienes la traducción al inglés del texto, manteniendo el tono espiritual y solemne de los escritos de Sor Josefa Menéndez:
January 26, 1921 “The soul that loves desires to suffer, and suffering increases love. Love and suffering unite the soul closely with God, until making it one and the same thing with Him.”
February 6, 1921 “These wounds are caused to Me by the lack of love from men who, like madmen, run to their perdition.”
February 8, 1921 “How many souls are damned! But a faithful soul makes reparation and obtains mercy for many ungrateful ones.”
February 9, 1921 “The love I have for souls is so great that I cannot contain the flame of My burning charity.”
February 12, 1921 Sister Josefa writes: I was before the Tabernacle in prayer and began to pray for my mother and my sisters. I grew sad for them and thought about what I would do if I were by their side... I confess that at that moment I was not relying enough on God. Suddenly, Jesus appeared, His Heart burning and full of majesty, and in a tone of rebuke He said to me: "You alone, what could you do?" And pointing to His Heart: "Fix your gaze Here." And He left.
February 20, 1921 During Holy Mass, after the Consecration, Jesus appears beautifully to Sister Josefa and says to her: “Tell Me, Josefa, what are you going to offer Me for the souls I have entrusted to you? Place it in the Wound of My Heart so that it may receive an infinite value.”
February 21, 1921 “I want you so forgetful of yourself and so abandoned to My Will that I will not let the slightest imperfection pass without warning you. You must always keep in mind your nothingness and My Mercy. I will know how to draw treasures from your humility: do not forget it.”
February 24, 1921 “Tomorrow you will offer to My Father all your actions, united to the Blood I shed in My Passion. You will try not to lose the Divine presence for a single moment, rejoicing, as much as possible, in whatever you may have to suffer. Think all day long of souls... of sinners... I thirst... yes, I thirst for souls.”
