On June 21, the parish priest of Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe Reina del Clero in Mexico City invited fathers to celebrate Father’s Day by playing soccer inside the church’s nave around the 12:00 Eucharist.
Wearing liturgical vestments, the priest also took part in the game. A goal was placed directly in front of the altar, and the fathers took turns shooting while parishioners applauded.
