My apostle children, you must draw closer to Me in prayer, for many of you wish to carry out apostolate but do not succeed, because you want to force spiritual nourishment upon souls. When a soul is not properly disposed to receive that spiritual nourishment—be it My Word, prayers, messages, or meetings—it does not benefit them. I, Jesus, speak to you.
My children, to speak of Me to souls who reject Me, you must invoke My Holy Spirit so that He may predispose the soul to receive holy things. It is the same as the earth: if it is not prepared for sowing, the seed falls in vain because, being unprepared, the soil does not bring forth fruit. I approve of your desire to carry out apostolate and help souls, but for your apostolate to be fruitful and effective, you must pray. In prayer, you will receive the light to know how you ought to act. This also applies to priests, whose desire to evangelize sometimes leads them to mistakes regarding souls.
My children, if workers in a factory were to do things according to their own free will, that enterprise would be chaos without organization. The same happens with you, apostles, who do not know how to evangelize. Come to Me and consult Me in prayer, and you will see how, by counting on Me, you find the answer to your desires to evangelize, because it is not about speaking or giving spiritual things by force, but about knowing how to find the right moment to do so. A funeral may be the right moment—though not always—a marital failure, the loss of a job; sometimes those dramatic situations cause people to turn back to God and understand how ephemeral life is. For when there are good sentiments, pain can cause the soul to seek Me and never leave Me again; when there is selfishness, the opposite happens, and they attack Me and cast Me aside, blaming Me for the suffering they endure. I, Jesus, speak to you.
I suffered great bitterness for you; I accepted it voluntarily to save you. The only thing that pains Me is that many souls did not take advantage of My bitterness, which was as great as My love. Therefore, My children, take note of this teaching and put it into practice, and do not forget that it is I who moves souls, not you. For this reason, you must come to Me in prayer and invoke My Holy Spirit every time you are about to do something spiritual or an act of apostolate, even each time you visit the sick, because My Holy Spirit can place the right words in your mouths to console them or to convert them. I, Jesus, speak to you and instruct you. Receive My Divine peace and the love of My Holy Mother and of Myself.
