Leo XIV will personally present the inaugural ‘Pope Leo XIV
Sustainability Medal’ on October 13 during Villanova University's
conference at Borgo Laudato Si' in Castel Gandolfo.
The meeting is entitled, "Responding to the Cries of the Earth and the Poor".
The
medal is newly established by Villanova University - Leo XIV's alma
mater - to honor individuals whose work promotes environmental
stewardship.
The inaugural recipient will be announced in September.
