- Separate Yourselves From the Poison

Introduction from Father John Mary

Many people have been asking us how to understand what God the Father said in our previous Messages regarding “separating yourselves,” and specifically if they should continue to go to Mass and receive Holy Communion in their current parishes. For a faithful Catholic, these questions can be agonizing. Individual situations vary a great deal. Some feel strongly that the Lord is telling them that they should not continue in their parishes. Others have a different sense. We don’t know the answers to all these questions. So we asked Sister to ask the Lord. This Message is the response she received. As you will see, this is a very challenging Message, so we have asked Sister to provide some insight on how best to receive it. I will also add some words of explanation at the end.

Note from Sister Amapola

These times and these Messages raise many questions regarding what to do in these particular circumstances.

As normal human beings we want clarity.  And in serious moral and spiritual matters such as these, we would like absolute clarity and very specific directions.  We want God to tell us exactly what to do in order to make Him happy, remain in the Truth, and not endanger our souls.

However, what the Father is primarily asking of us is an act of Faith – to surrender wholeheartedly to His Will and direction, despite not being able to understand clearly and not having precise directions on what to do, despite the confusion and fear that surrounds us, trusting that He will guide and protect us; and saying with Our Blessed Mother, “Behold the Handmaid of the Lord, be it done unto me according to your word.”

I think that in reading this Message it is important and helpful to remember this and ask for the Light and help of the Holy Spirit, that we may be able to receive the true essence of what He wishes to communicate to us – not just the dire warnings (which we need), but above all the underlying Love and assurance of help that is being conveyed.  I do not know how to understand many passages, I am easily overwhelmed by the seriousness of what is being said, and the tremendous weight of the responsibility in making these Words public.  But behind each Word there is an ocean of Light and Mercy that is being offered to us – now – to help us live these times and be able to cooperate in His Plan, and not be a hindrance.  With Our Blessed Mother we keep these things in our hearts and ponder them and try to do whatever He tells us (Lk 2:51; Jn 2:5).

My children,

It is I, Mirrén,[1] the Divine Spirit of God, the Spirit of Wisdom, Who replies.

I see the sorrow of so many of My children in the face of the confusion that has now invaded My whole Church.

How much pain is caused by the rejection of Truth and of the order that the Father established for the good of all His children.

Remember this, little ones, EVERYTHING that the Father has established, ordered, commanded, has been done out of Love for you; for your eternal good; ALL leading to the perfect union in the Divine Mystery of the Most Blessed Trinity, for all eternity.

When the order[2] established by the Father remains in place, when the Line of Authority[3] He established remains in place, then souls are fed, nourished, protected, and helped through this order and this authority.  And acting outside of these bounds becomes a danger – the temptation to rebellion and pride becomes stronger and harder to resist.

For centuries this order and this line of authority – both coming from the Throne of God, from His Heart – have acted as a bulwark for My children, despite the many imperfections and misunderstandings that have plagued them from the beginning.

The order and the Line of Authority are perfect, but those who act within them and through them are imperfect, sinful, weak.

The Mystery of the Permissive Will of the Father is at work here – often allowing these imperfections and injustices to exist in order to try and purify and sanctify souls through humility, abandonment, Faith, and obedience.

But, My children, the Hour of the Passion of the Church –  of the Mystical Body of Jesus, the Word Incarnate – is upon you.

In this Hour, it is granted to the enemy to seemingly destroy the Father’s order and to infiltrate and usurp the Line of Authority, thus in appearance destroying the Church[4], and abandoning His children[5], who are left in appearance alone and without a shepherd.

Will the Father completely abandon His children to the wolves?

Will Jesus no longer stand at your side?[6]

Will I no longer grant Light and Counsel to Our bereft little ones?

NO, children.

This darkest of Hours must be passed, the bitter cup must be drunk, the tears and the sorrow must be felt.

But you are not alone.

Hold fast to TRUTH.

You ask, in the midst of such dark confusion, where is Truth anymore?

You know, My little ones, where Truth can be found. [smile]

JESUS IS THE TRUTH.

HE IS THE ONE, LIVING AND ENDURING, UNCHANGING TRUTH.[7]

REMAIN IN HIM.

The Father’s established order and the Line of Authority He established have now been poisoned.

You must avoid this poison, children.

The poison of lack of Faith, lack of trust and obedience; the poison of pride and rebellion; the poison of relativism and of fear.

Poison invades slowly, gradually, invading tissue, cells, organs.

The Body can tolerate a certain amount of poison before becoming entirely ill and incapacitated.

For a time, it is possible to continue living as before, for the poison has not yet entirely invaded the Body.

My children, once the usurpation of the Chair of Peter took place, the deadly poison has entered the bloodstream of the Body of the Church.

Do you understand what this means?

The poison is now being transmitted throughout the whole Body.[8]

This is why it is necessary now to separate yourselves from this poison – from those who promote it, from those who allow it, from those who, being so asleep, are unable to stop its spread.

Pray for these, that they may wake before they are overcome.

There remain very few unpoisoned wells[9] and these will soon fall to the poison as well.

My true shepherds will shepherd their flocks amongst the rocks and the hills, in the wilderness, for a brief time.  Until the Divine Action descends to purify, heal, and restore.

[The following is addressed to His Priests.]

Sons of the Father, upon whom His Seal rests, to nourish and guide and protect His children, the flocks entrusted to your care:

DO NOT BE AFRAID.

How brightly the Priestly Seal will shine and already shines in this dark hour.

ABANDON YOURSELVES WITHOUT RESERVE TO THE FATHER’S WILL FOR THIS HOUR.

This act of total filial TRUST and FAITH obtains for you and for your flock the necessary graces of LIGHT, DISCERNMENT, STRENGTH and COURAGE that you need in this Hour.

You have the CORNERSTONE[10]; anchor yourselves to Him.

You have the TRUTH, do not be afraid.

You have Him Who is LIFE; lift your gaze to Him at every moment.

You have Me, ever present in the hearts who long for God and for the fulfillment of His Promises.[11]

You have ME, the Divine Light that penetrates through all deceit, through all lies, through the densest darkness.  HAVE NO FEAR.

You have the Divine Refuge of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Most Holy – enclose all souls in this fortress.

You have the Mother Who loves you in a particular way, Who unites you ever closer to the Heart of Her Son, the Eternal High Priest.

You have the aid of all the Angelic choirs; of all the souls of the Saints, who, though they have completed their earthly missions, still cooperate in the Father’s Plan for this Hour.  You have the prayers of the souls that are being purified,  HELP THEM, My sons.

You feel alone, sons of My Heart, but I unite you in the Will of the Father, in the great Work of the Reconquest, in the fulfillment of what the Father has announced and promised from of old.

My sons, when the Line of Authority is usurped, poisoned, you must go to the Root, the Origin of all Authority – the Father – Who has entrusted all Authority and Judgement to Jesus, that through Him all be brought to submission to the Father.[12]

Jesus, Jesus, JESUS.

He who remains in Jesus remains in the Father, remains in TRUTH.[13]

He who denies Jesus, denies the Father, and is separated from the TRUTH.  He becomes anathema.[14]

Remaining in Jesus is to remain in His Mystical Body,[15] it is to abide in the Heart of the Father, it is to remain the branch that is one with the Vine[16], through Whom all Grace, Truth, and Authority flow.

Do not be afraid.

[What follows is addressed to all.]

My little children,

My little scattered flock; so attacked, so lulled into the slumber of indifference and unawareness.[17]

Help those who are still asleep, My beloved ones.  This is a part of your mission – to carry the burden of seeing and knowing, and the grief and sorrow this brings; and the duty to help My slumbering children to see and recognize the darkness and the uniqueness of this Hour.

Help My Priests, encourage them, pray for them.

Avail yourselves of their help in the measure in which they are able to recognize the present Hour and the poison that has infected My Church.

Remember that your God – Who loves you – knows what you are facing, knows your desire to remain faithful to Him, knows what you can and cannot do.

Trust that in His Mercy He provides the means to nourish your souls, even in the midst of darkness and confusion.

Through your FAITH, HUMILITY, and OBEDIENCE, He grants you all you need to remain faithful to Him.

BE AT PEACE.

DID HE NOT PROVIDE FOOD AND DRINK IN THE DESERT?[18]

DO NOT BE AFRAID.

TRUST.  LOVE.  WAIT.

Unite yourselves in spirit – through FAITH – to the prayers and Sacrifices[19] of My true faithful Priests.

Remain in Jesus.

Abandon yourselves to My Action.

Trust in the Loving Providence of the Father.

Be on guard against the poison that is being spread more and more quickly.

You have the Shield of the Blood of the Lamb upon you.

HAVE NO FEAR. [smile]

The Spirit Who spoke to the Churches speaks once again.[20]

Let him who has ears hear what He is saying to His Church.[21]

Amen.

MARANATHA.[22]

The Most Holy Spirit of God,

The Love of the Father and of the Son,

The Divine Spirit Who will purify all that is.

Amen.

Commentary from Father John Mary

This is a transcript of the commentary Fr. John Mary did on the video recording of this Message.

Introduction

So that’s the Message. Clearly the Lord is speaking of a dire situation, one that requires discernment and decision.

I want to be clear: We don’t pretend to know what each person should do, and we don’t believe the Lord is giving a one-size-fits-all solution here.

We encourage you to read and reflect on the Message prayerfully, with trust and faith in the Lord, asking Him to guide you in your particular discernment.

Here, I simply want to offer a few words that might be helpful in that discernment.

The Passion of the Church

First, what situation has provoked these grave words from Our Lord?

He tells us. We’re living the Passion of the Church, the great trial the Catechism tells us the Church must undergo before her eventual purification.

God tells us, “Deadly poison has entered the bloodstream of the Body of the Church.” Not just showing up in a few bad apples, but spreading throughout the whole Church from the very top.

This is a hard and obviously very controversial message. And for many Catholics whose parish life seems relatively normal, talk of “poison” in the Church may seem strange. But not for those who have been paying attention.  They have witnessed the poison infecting and corrupting the members of Christ’s Mystical Body, the Church, particularly during the time of Francis and Leo. Basic truths—such as Christ being the only way of salvation, the state of grace for receiving the Holy Eucharist, the proper veneration of Our Blessed Mother, and the truth about marriage and sexuality, among many others—are weakened, even denied by a corrupt hierarchy. They have witnessed that hierarchy become even more corrupt and more heretical with the many egregious appointments made by Francis and Leo. The poison is there. God is not exaggerating.

What Should We Do

Separating from the Poison

So that’s the situation. How should we respond? How can we protect ourselves and our loved ones from this poison? Our Lord’s fundamental guidance is to separate ourselves from it, and from those who encourage or allow it to spread.

What does this mean concretely for each of us? Again, it’s not a one-size-fits-all approach. The Message does not give a specific answer for each person’s situation and certainly we at the Mission cannot. Each situation is unique. A person’s spiritual life and formation, family situation, involvement with the parish and other ministries, access to Catholic resources and so forth all vary a great deal.

And of course, so do the priests they have contact with. Notice that in addition to asking us to encourage and pray for priests—very important—the Lord says to “Avail yourselves of their help in the measure in which they are able to recognize the present Hour and the poison that has infected My Church.” Some priests see the poison more clearly than others, some are more willing to fight it—sadly, others help spread it. This too is part of your discernment.

The Example of the Seven Churches

In reflecting on the fact that the poison has spread through the whole Church and yet each person’s situation is unique, one thing that caught our attention was how the Holy Spirit concludes this Message. He says:

The Spirit Who spoke to the Churches speaks once again.

Let him who has ears hear what He is saying to His Church.

The Holy Spirit is echoing the letters of St. John to the seven churches in the Book of Revelation. As in our Message, these letters highlight many evils afflicting the Church, including numerous warnings about coming trials, the presence of Satan, the “synagogue of Satan,” false prophets, heretical and idolatrous teachings and “evil men … who call themselves apostles but are not.” But what is also striking is how different the seven letters are. The seven churches, or Christian communities, are in the same region. They are all part of the same Church and the same moment in time.  Yet the letter each community receives reflects their particular situation, admonishing them to confront their specific challenges and correct their particular sins. It’s not a one-size-fits-all critique.

Is the Holy Spirit’s concluding reference perhaps a way of shedding light on our own situation?

Is He asking us to open our eyes and ears to how we are experiencing this poison, this evil of our time?

This Message gives us so much to reflect on, so much for prayerful consideration.

No Separation from the Church—the Arian Crisis Example

But one thing that is not up for consideration, one thing we can be sure of is that God will never ask us to separate from His true Church. Only from the poisonous influences attacking and infiltrating her.

Here we can take a lesson from another time when the faithful had to separate themselves from poison in the Church. In the fourth century, so many bishops—in fact the large majority of them—had succumbed to the poison of the Arian heresy that many of the faithful, in good conscience, believed they couldn’t attend Mass in their regular churches. Instead they separated themselves from the Arian poison coming from bishops and priests, worshiping in makeshift circumstances or sometimes going without Mass at all, trusting that God would provide for their spiritual nourishment.

As St. Basil lamented about the situation, “[T]hose of the laity who are sound in their faith avoid the places of worship as schools of impiety, and raise their hands in solitudes, with groans and tears to the Lord in heaven.” Elsewhere he said, “Matters have come to this pass: the people have left their houses of prayer, and assemble in deserts.” St. Athanasius, the greatest defender of the faith against Arianism, said simply, “They [the Arians] have the buildings but we have the faith.”

St. Athanasius and St. Basil and those who followed them were not leaving the Church. They were, in fact, remaining faithful to her and accepting a temporary exclusion to help bring about her renewal.

Something similar is happening here in an even graver situation. Compare these saints’ words with what Our Lord says about our own situation: “My true shepherds will shepherd their flocks amongst the rocks and the hills, in the wilderness, for a brief time.  Until the Divine Action descends to purify, heal, and restore.”

So it’s not creating a new Church, but having to be separated for a brief but difficult time from that which has been poisoned. It’s recognizing that the Church is living its passion, which is terrible, but, by God’s mercy, will not last long.

Trust and God’s Provision

Even still, God’s call may seem daunting. How will we survive without these supports—without the guides, especially the papacy, that Catholics normally rely on? Even if their absence is only temporary, we seem to be left in confusion and obscurity—much like the Apostles and disciples on Holy Saturday. How will we find our way?

God answers in the Message:

“Remember that your God – Who loves you – knows what you are facing; knows your desire to remain faithful to Him, knows what you can and cannot do.”

“Trust that in His Mercy He provides the means to nourish your souls, even in the midst of darkness and confusion.”

“Through your FAITH, HUMILITY, and OBEDIENCE, He grants you all you need to remain faithful to Him.

He knows how difficult this time is. He will provide. He will not abandon us.

This is the heart of all the Reconquest Messages: more than any specific act, they call us to trust, faith, and abandonment to the Father’s love and care.

So read the Message prayerfully—again and again—trusting that God will show you the particular path He is calling you to take in separating from the poison, and that He will give you the grace to persevere on that path.

Final Thoughts

Despite its gravity, this Message calls us not to fear but to trust—in our Lord and in the intercession of our Blessed Mother.

If we keep faith and love Him, He will protect, sustain, and guide us to the great renewal of the Church.

Jesus, we trust in You.

Come, Lord Jesus

[1] A name for the Holy Spirit.  Over the years, as is evident in the Reconquest Messages, the prophetic words I’ve received have been variously spoken by God the Father, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the Blessed Mother.  In some of the Messages from the Holy Spirit, He has referred to Himself by this name of Mirrén [mee-Ren].  At times, the Father has also referred to the Holy Spirit by this name, as have Jesus and the Blessed Mother.  But all previous occurrences had been in private Messages.  This is the first time the name has been used in a public Message and that was very surprising.  I don’t pretend to understand all the significance of this.  We have found no previous historical reference or etymology for this name.  But it has seemed to me that this name is akin to the use of “Abba,” in the sense that it conveys a more intimate or personal relationship with the Person of the Holy Spirit.  I know many may find its use surprising and even controversial.  But in faith we transmit to you exactly what was dictated, not wanting to edit what the Lord has said.

[2] I understand this “order” to include both natural and supernatural, moral and intellectual order.  The order in nature, the order in relationships among His creatures and in the relationship with Him, the order in morals and behavior, the order in the passing of time and of Divine Providence.  The order of His Plan of Salvation.  The order of Doctrine and Sacred Tradition.

[3] I understand this to mean the proper way that Authority “descends” from God and is active in every aspect of our lives.  The proper authority within the Church, within the family, within society.  But primarily I sense that He is speaking of the authority within the Church, how it “descends” from His Throne, through Jesus, to His Vicar, and through the Apostolic Succession to the Bishops in union with him, to the Priests under the authority of these bishops, etc.

[4] As stated in earlier Messages, many are scandalized when they hear statements such as these, prophesying the “destruction” of the visible Church, thinking it is a denial of Jesus’ promise that the gates of Hell would not prevail upon the Church.  It is helpful to remember first of all that the Church is much more than just the visible part here on earth: it includes the Church Triumphant (those in Heaven) and the Suffering Church (those in Purgatory).  And secondly, that when He speaks of the Church in this and other Messages  He is referring primarily to the Church Militant, the visible structure on earth, which must follow Jesus in His Passion, Death, and Resurrection.

It is impossible for the gates of Hell to prevail against the entire Church, yet it is impossible for the Church on earth not to undergo its betrayal, passion, death, and resurrection.  Jesus’ Body, His Humanity, had to undergo death, but death cannot touch His Divinity.  In a similar way, the visible Church on Earth must undergo death, but the Divine essence of the Church cannot be put to death.

[5] Many times, the way in which certain paragraphs are dictated can be somewhat confusing, as in this sentence, where it could seem that “…and abandoning His children” is referring to the enemy’s children, which it is not.  Since this is how it was dictated, I hesitate to make any changes or edits in an attempt to clarify the meaning, but rather prefer to add footnotes when necessary.

[6] I sensed that this “standing by our side” means His protection, consolation, intercession before the Father.  “I will not leave you desolate; I will come to you.”  (Jn 14:18).

[7] This was said with much emphasis and I would say joy, like an expanding burst of light.

[8] A simple example of this is the promotion of false doctrine being taught and presented as if it were part of the authentic magisterium of the Church, such as the problematic teachings in the papal documents Amoris Laetitia, Fiducia Supplicans, Magnifica Humanitatis, and numerous other instances.

[9] I understood these “wells” to mean parishes, communities, and other Church groups.  This is a terrifying statement.  I don’t think this means that the well itself is the danger, but that, because it is being fed by waters – teachings – that have been purposefully poisoned, we should not – cannot – drink whatever is poisoned from that well now without spiritual injury.  Some wells are more poisoned than others.

[10] “So then you are no longer strangers and sojourners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20 built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the Cornerstone, in Whom the whole structure is joined together and grows into a holy temple in the Lord; in whom you also are built into it for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. (Ephesians 2:19-22).  See also (1 Peter 2:4-8), (Acts 4:10-12).

[11]We know that the whole creation has been groaning in travail together until now; and not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.  For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.

Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with sighs too deep for words.   And He who searches the hearts of men knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.”  (Romans 8:22-27).

[12] “And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.” (Mt 18, 28).  “For just as the Father has life in Himself, even so He gave to the Son also to have life in Himself; and He gave Him authority to execute judgement, because He is the Son of Man.” (John 5:26-27).  “Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father after destroying every rule and every authority and power.  For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet.  The last enemy to be destroyed is death. For God has put all things in subjection under His feet.”…When all things are subjected to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subjected to Him Who put all things under Him, that God may be everything to everyone.” (1 Cor 15:24-28).

[13] “Jesus answered him, “If a man loves me, he will keep My word, and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.” (Jn 14:23); “Jesus answered, “I Am the Way and the Truth and the Life.  No one comes to the Father except through Me.”” (Jn 14:6).  “Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you.  If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you will abide in the Son and in the Father.” (1 Jn 2:24).

[14] “He who hates Me hates My Father also.” (Jn 15:23).  “Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ?  This is the antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son.  Anyone who denies the Son does not have the Father.” (1 Jn 2:22-25).

[15] In this brief but difficult trial for the Church, many of its visible elements and structure will be lacking, and so the Lord is calling us back to what is most fundamental.

[16] “I Am the Vine, you are the branches.  He who abides in Me, and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.” (Jn 15:1-8).

[17] It seemed to me that He was addressing two different ‘sections’ of His “little scattered flock”: those who are awake and aware and those who, still blind, are lulled into indifference.

[18] “In the sight of their fathers He wrought marvels…He made streams come out of the rock, and caused waters to flow down like rivers…He commanded the skies above, and opened the doors of heaven; and He rained down upon them manna to eat, and gave them the bread of heaven…He rained flesh upon them like dust, winged birds like the sand of the seas.” (Psalm 78(77):18-29).  It is worth reading this whole Psalm, it is a good reminder of all that the Lord has done for His children.  See also Exodus 16 and Numbers 20:1-13.

[19] I understood this to mean the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

[20] Rev 1:19-3:22.

[21] Phrase that is repeated at the end of each of the letters to the seven churches in the Book of Revelation.  See above reference.

[22] Rev 22:20. “He who testifies to these things says, ‘Surely I am coming soon.’  Amen.  Come, Lord Jesus!”
