For centuries and centuries, the coming of the Redeemer of the world was foretold. Right from Adam and Eve, I promised a Redeemer to redeem the world from sin and save it from eternal death. I, the Eternal Father, speak to you.
I prepared the coming of My Divine Son with all kinds of events, prophecies, miracles, and more. And then, at His coming, He who had been announced for so many centuries came inadvertently, in a hidden manner, and was born in a poor manger where no one could have ever imagined the cradle of the announced and awaited Messiah would be. I, Heavenly Father, speak to you.
And you, My children, wish to be recognized, admired, and loved without having anything that inspires those feelings. Your pride blinds you so much that you desire to be recognized and loved unjustly, for the self-love you have for yourselves blinds you as much as it blinded Lucifer.
Everyone who loves themselves so much bears a certain resemblance to that angel who fell because of his pride and because of the great love he had for himself. Hence, the Virgin—who considered herself the smallest, most unworthy creature—was chosen to be the most sublime creature that has ever existed, or ever will exist, after My Divine Son. For humility is so pleasing in My eyes that it carries with it the recognition of Heaven, not of creatures. Everyone who holds themselves in low regard on earth will be held in high regard in Heaven, and everyone who considers themselves valuable or loves themselves on earth will be held in lesser regard in Heaven. For as My Divine Son told you, whoever humbles himself will be exalted, and whoever exalts himself will be humbled (Lk 18:14).
Satan sinks many souls by inoculating them with the spirit of vainglory because these are the fruits he induces. The person who thinks they are something is actually nothing, because they are deceived by those suggestions of the devil and by their own self-love, which is one of their greatest enemies. I, Eternal Father, speak to you.
Be humble in your personal prayer and it will be fruitful. Remember the tax collector in the Gospel; be simple, humble, and resigned, and you will receive from Me what you beg of Me. So My children, do not consider yourselves great or special souls just because you live in a state of grace, for the path of holiness is so vast that even if you lived for centuries, you would not finish walking it because of how far it extends. Ask Me for grace and humility in your prayers, and I, Your Loving Father, will grant it to you.
My peace and that of My Divine Son, together with Our Holy Spirit, be with you all.
