The Blessed Virgin Mary marked the site of her church with a miraculous snowfall in Rome.
This miracle is remembered every year as white flower petals fall from the ceiling of the Basilica of St. Mary Major, housing the relics of Christ's manger and some of Rome’s oldest Christian mosaics.
