WHEN THE TRIAL KNOCKS AT YOUR DOOR, TURN TO YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER WHO YEARNS TO HELP YOU
Children of God, you are unworthy to call yourselves such because you bear no resemblance to your Father, for sin deforms every likeness you have to Him; yet through baptism you are children of God, even if the distance between Him and you is infinite. I, the Spirit of God, speak to you.
How much effort you put into temporary things and how little into eternal ones. How much material things concern you and spiritual ones not at all. You only turn to your Heavenly Father when a family member is ill or gravely sick to ask Him for help, even though you do not believe that such help will be granted, and so you lack even faith in the face of need. If you turn to the Heavenly Father in the gravity of your affairs, it is because you know that God exists and that He is good and powerful; so if you know this, why do you not live devoted to His service, and why do you doubt His goodness when you address Him? Children of God, be at least consistent with your beliefs and strive to please your Heavenly Father, so that He may hold you in consideration during the trials you face and the chaotic situations of your life. I, the Spirit of God, speak to you.
A father has the obligation to help his children in times of need; if earthly parents do this, do you think your Heavenly Father will not? Or do you doubt because you know in your subconscious that you are sinners and consider yourselves unworthy of being heard by God? God is not like you—petty and intolerant—He loves you despite your sins and transgressions. Go to Him, even if only out of self-interest, and humble yourselves before the Most High, who alone is worthy of being loved and adored. I, the Spirit of God, speak to you.
When trial knocks at your door and you find yourselves helpless before the anguish of suffering, turn to your Heavenly Father, whose goodness is infinite and who yearns to help you. Have faith in Him, and if you lack faith, humble and abase yourselves before Him as the prodigal son did before his earthly father. Ask for help from the One who is all-powerful, and be confident that He will help you according to what is best for you. I, the Spirit of God, speak to you and instruct you. Peace and blessing in the name of the Most Holy Trinity.
